Lotte Willemsen (°2003) is an illustrator and comic artist based in Antwerp, Belgium. She studied at Sint Lucas Antwerpen, with a focus on illustration and graphic storytelling. Her work explores everyday observations, atmosphere and character-driven narratives through drawing and sequential image-making.
Project
The graphic novel adaptation of Victorian Psycho, originally written by Virginia Feito, follows Winifred Notty, a new governess at the isolated Ensor House, as she navigates the dysfunctional and cruel Pounds family. What begins as a darkly humorous observation of Victorian society and domestic life quickly spirals into a psychological thriller, revealing Winifred’s deeply disturbed past and her escalating capacity for violence.
