About
Vincent Goudsmit is a Belgium-based photographer known for combining technical precision with a strong visual sensitivity to color, contrast, and atmosphere. Holding a Professional Bachelor’s degree in Photography, he approaches image-making with a refined understanding of lighting, composition, and visual storytelling, while remaining deeply aware of the history of photography and continuously drawing inspiration from it in his work.
Inspired by film, classical paintings, and 1990s photography, his work combines a cinematic visual language with contemporary minimalism.
Project
Drawing on my background as a fashion photographer, I explore the history of cosmetics, including hair as part of this history. Inspired by this research, I have created a photographic interpretation, approached from a modern and critical perspective.
