About
Trained as a cultural anthropologist, I am impressed by how people live and survive, despite adversity. The lust for life and the harsh reality of death, the loving gesture, the frustration and the hope: it's all part of life. Every day I 'steal' sentences on the train, advertisements in supermarket flyers, chalk texts on the pavement, song lyrics, philosophical and hilarious expressions and images. As improvised collages they play together on the etching plate.
