About
Linde Dauwe is an illustration student based in Antwerp. Her work is inspired by nature, color, and elements of fantasy. Working mostly with traditional materials such as watercolor, Neocolor and pencil, she creates playful and expressive illustrations. With a strong focus on storytelling, she is especially passionate about graphic novels and children’s books.
Project
Speuren naar sporen is a playful search-and-find book that takes children on a journey through Flemish nature. Through illustrated scenes and informative pages, they learn about ecosystems and the importance of biodiversity in an playful way. Children get to know species they might also find in their own garden, ranging from cute mammals to creepy-crawlies. The picture book aims to bring the youngest generation closer to local nature in an accessible way.
