Project
Akson Thai, meaning 'Thai Typeface', is a type design project that explores how to design Thai letters as a non-Thai speaker. This long and extensive journey attempts to find the right approach to achieve a qualitative, thoughtful typeface. the project's typeface Mai Pokati, is based on the typeface of the title of an old Thai movie poster called รักคืนเรือน. The design was tailored to be used in today's context. The typeface was made at Cadson Demak in Bangkok, during my internship.
