About
My name is Janne Wyckmans and I am a graphic design master’s student based in Belgium. My practice moves between branding, editorial design, photography, publication design and visual experimentation. I am particularly interested in magazine design, graphic translations, and creating visual systems across both printed and spatial contexts. Through research and experimentation, I explore how graphic design can evolve into layered visual narratives and new forms of storytelling.
Project
Throughout this year, I have been exploring how a single found object can evolve into an entire graphic design system. Starting from a randomly discovered Boch soup plate, I analyse and deconstruct forms, structures, repetition and visual language, translating them into new graphic and spatial experiments. The project moves between observation and transformation, allowing the original object to gradually evolve into a new visual world.
