Alex Lambrechts is a visual artist based in Antwerp. With a background in Communication Design, their practice moves across graphic work, installation, scenography and printmaking, often in close collaboration with theatre. Drawn to the space where technology and nature intertwine, Alex builds immersive environments that work through image and sensation; questioning the boundaries between bodies, systems and the living world.
Project
They Are Watching You is an interactive biomorphic installation set within the context of the UN Climate Change Conference. Nature has no seat at the negotiating table, while those with the power to act look away. Here, nature is no longer silent or pushed aside. It stands at the door, watching, holding the policymakers accountable.
