‘Mannetje klein’ is a poetic and visual exploration of old age and dementia, created during an internship at an elderly care center. Through layered illustrations and a hand-written poem, It captures the small, unique details that mark life in its later years. The illustrations blend collage, colored pencil and oil pastels.
