"Maud" is the story of a courageous teenage girl who struggles with the challenges of her sexual orientation and the difficult process of coming out to her parents and friends. "Maud" is a graphic novel about a teenage girl's coming out. The central focus is on the uncertainty that comes with having a different sexual orientation, while also aiming to create a storyline that is universally recognizable.
