(ENGL) _POUNDING THE IRON AS MY HEART IS PULSATING AT THE SAME RHYTHM, I FEEL ONE WITH THE METAL_ My project focuses on the outbreak of contained feelings like anger and stress, I used the beating of my heart and the forging of the nails as a guide through my work. The copper bracelet (_juste un clou en colère_) acts as a remnant of the emotional outbreak, it's also a rebellious reference to Cartier's exclusive nail bracelets (_juste un clou_) that turns the nail into a status symbol. I also looked at what makes us human and what we share: our mortality, being alive at this moment, a beating heart and a body constructed of bones. \ \ (NDL) _TERWIJL IK HET IJZER SMEEDT KLOPT MIJN HART OP HETZELFDE RITME, IK SMELT SAMEN MET HET METAAL_ Mijn project focust zich op de uitbraak van ingehouden gevoelens als woede en stress, het kloppen van mijn hart en het smeden van de spijkers gebruikte ik als leidraad. De koperen armband (juste un clou en colère) fungeert als restant van de uitbarsting, en is tegelijk een rebelse verwijzing naar de exclusieve spijkerarmbanden van Cartier (juste un clou) die van de spijker een statussymbool maakt. Ik keek naar wat ons mens maakt en verbindt; als onze mortaliteit, op dit moment in leven zijn, een kloppend hart en een lichaam geconstrueerd door botten.
