‘Niemandsland’ is een experimenteel videospel over ronddwalen, constante verandering en dissonantie. Ontstaan uit materiaal- en zielsonderzoek, gekenmerkt door analoge animatie, stop-motion en flarden poëzie.

Dit videospel is een onderzoek naar digitaal zelf-publiceren en ingaan tegen de typische game. Noura liet zich inspireren door haar stage bij auteur en dichter Astrid Haerens, waarin ze een multidisciplinaire aanpak van illustratie kon verkennen. De rauwe beelden, vervreemdende soundscapes en belichaamde taal maken tot een donkere, existentialistische en immersieve ervaring.

'No Man's Land' is an experimental video game about wandering, constant change and dissonance. Emerged from material and soul research, characterized by analog animation, stop-motion and snippets of poetry.

This video game is an exploration into digital self-publishing and going against the mainstream game. Noura was inspired by her internship with author and poet Astrid Haerens, where she was able to explore a more multidisciplinary approach to illustration. The raw imagery, alienating soundscapes and embodied language create a dark, existentialist and immersive experience.
